Norway is also an oil and natural gas exporter mostly within the European Union. The World Energy Body listed it at number seven of the overall oil producing countries in the world. Other economic activities practiced in the country include shipbuilding, metal, timber, chemicals and paper products production. There are also food-processing factories and fishing is another important activity.
All these factors and characteristics make Norway a prime tourist destination with its unique landscape, friendly people and rich culture. This means more revenue and increased reputation for the country.
