Walt disney - a man who serves as a source of inspiration for kids

Every class needs a clown. The class clown’s job is not very different from any traditional clown: to entertain and spread joy to those around them. Liam’s class also had one. It was Liam himself and Liam was very proud of it. Liam was very committed to his role as the class clown. He often daydreamed or thought up ways to make his classmates laugh. He was willing to do anything to make the class laugh. No amount of punishment could make him stop. Not even when the teacher called him the “ second dumbest” in her class. It seemed as though he thought he was born to do what he does and he couldn’t help it.

Once, he caught a field mouse and made it his pet. He also made a leash for it out of string. He took his new pet to class and introduced it to everyone. When someone noticed that the little thing was a mouse and screamed, Liam got severely punished by his teacher. But he didn’t care. He and his mouse were famous and that was all that mattered. One would think that Liam had better things to do after school. But that was not the case. Even at home, his pranks wouldn’t stop. Almost as soon as he could hold a pencil he spent hours and hours drawing. He considered himself a true artist. That too a good one. He liked to draw funny characters on the blackboard and on the corners of the pages in his textbook.

One day, he convinced his younger sister into helping him paint the side of the house. They drew sketches of animals on the house. It was a terrible idea because they were painting with tar that would never come off. This did not make Liam’s parents happy at all. A few years later, his father had to sell the farm where they lived and move to a different place. It was a very disheartening time for little Liam. After moving to the new city, Liam had no free time. He was put to work by his father. Every day, he and his elder brother would wake up before sunrise to deliver newspapers to over seven hundred houses until the school bell rang and then again in the afternoon till they were called home for dinner. He was only nine but felt like a good businessman already. But being a businessman was not easy, he learned as a nine-year-old kid.

It would be freezing in the morning and all Liam would do was to curl up in the doorway and cry. On the newspaper route, there were luxurious homes and much better than their own. The rich kids on the route often left amazing toys outside their house. Liam sometimes took a break to play with the toys. This was not the last of Liam’s hard-working jobs. He worked many places and he worked very hard. He delivered newspapers, washed bottle, crushed apples and also drove ambulances. One would think that he had completely forgotten about his dreams to become an artist but that was not the case. Liam was not compromising when it came to his dreams. After doing hard work all day, he would attend an art school and he would make cartoon sketches for the school.

But now, Liam wanted to be his own boss and have his own animation studio. He started to make animation films with his friend and would make thousands of drawings every day. His cartoons and fairy tales were famous but Liam had to close his studio because he didn’t make enough money. This only made Liam more stubborn. He thought back on his farm life with all the animals and here he found his inspiration for new animal creatures but this time they could speak and act like human beings. He would create dwarfs, talking mice, and puppets with noses that would grow every time they lied. Once, his cartoon characters and animation movies started to become popular Liam couldn’t stop. Liam, always coming up with new ideas, now had to create a theme park with rides and entertainment based on his movies.

Liam is no other than Walt Disney. The name Disney is known all over the world. He was the creator of Mickey Mouse and many other amazing creatures. Walt Disney’s cartoon movies are today an important part of something the family does together. Walt Disney struggled to become a man who serves as a source of inspiration for kids.
